Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment through our secure payment partner Protx.

Our website accepts orders from the UK, Europe (EC members only), the USA and Canada. For other locations please contact us for more details. All payments are to be made in GBP Sterling.
Shipping And Handling UK ORDERS:

We currently deliver all UK Mainland orders for a fixed charge of £3.99

For the Highlands, Isle of Man (IOM), Northern Ireland (NI) and the Channel Islands we offer a fixed £9.99 charge

For orders placed online using a credit or debit card, you will usually receive your order within 3-10 working days of placing your order.

Shipments usually require a signature on delivery. If you are not able to receive your delivery a card wil be left by our carrier. If you do not make arrangements for re-delivery or collect the item from your local depot, your order may be returned to us and an additional charge will be made for arranging a new delivery. Country Toys will not be held liable for any delays or errors made by carriers.

EUROPEAN & NORTH AMERICAN ORDERS:
We also welcome orders from Europe the USA and Canada. Shipping costs are calculated individally for each order and are not included in your shopping basket. We will either contact you with a shipping quote after you've placed your order, or you can contact us in advance for more information - email info@countrytoys.co.uk.
Delivery Schedule We will usually receive your order in around 3-10 days for the UK, and around 15 days for Airmail orders.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will contact you before completing the order with the option to back order, replace with a substitute or cancel that item. In the event of cancellation we will refund the cost of that item within 30 days. Country Toys will not be held liable for unavailability of items or erors in stock levels shown on our website.
Tax Charges For orders delivered to an address in the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the price of goods and shipping.

For orders delivered to the USA & Canada, all orders are exempt from local sales tax (VAT) and this will be deducted in your shopping basket when you proceed to checkout.
Credit Card Security All credit card transactions are undertaken using the Protx Secure Payment Server. You will be transferred to Protx during payment and returned once complete. We do not gain access to or retain your credit card details at any point. Through Protx we can accept American Express, Visa, Maestro Mastercard, Solo and Switch.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your order please advise within 48 hours of receipt.

Privacy Policy We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, under which we are registered).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. We will not pass on your details to a third party for marketing purposes.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Returns Policy Under the terms of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days, beginning the day after you receive your order. Notice of cancellation must be given by email to info@countrytoys.co.uk or by writing to us at the address shown. The order must be returned unopened in reasonable condition suitable for resale, and the cost of returning goods must be met by the customer.

On cancellation of your order and receipt of your goods in reasonable condition, we will reimburse any sum you have paid within 30 days, less any postage costs or charge for the direct costs of recovering your order if the cost of returning the goods has been met by Country Toys (this will not apply to the cost of recovering goods which were supplied as substitutes for the goods originally ordered by the consumer).

Country Toys provide a full refund or replace service for faulty or defective goods. If your goods are defective or faulty in any way, you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt by email to info@countrytoys.co.uk. You will be entitled to a substitute item subject to availability or a refund. The cost of returning faulty goods will be met by Country Toys, and we will normally arrange collection from your premises by our carrier. Returned faulty goods must be packaged in suitable condition.
